A rule is not activating on iOS

Open Offzone and confirm that Screen Time access is connected, the rule is applied, and the intended apps or websites are selected. For place-based focus, confirm location permissions, check that you are inside the selected place during its daily window, then tap Start focus. Arrival alone does not start blocking.

I need access now

Open Offzone and choose Restore access. Emergency recovery is always available without payment. Your saved rule remains available unless you delete it.

Starting focus at a place

Current Offzone versions use place and time conditions with an explicit Start focus action. NFC setup is no longer available on iOS or Android. Choose a place in your rule, apply it, and check arrival before starting focus.

Account and purchases

Signing in is optional for free local rules. Depending on your app version, sign in with Apple, Google, or email to save your high-level focus goal and manage purchases. Verify an email account before saving account changes or purchasing. Use Forgot password? on the email sign-in screen to reset your password. To add another sign-in method to an existing account, sign in first and open Linked sign-in methods. Manage iOS subscriptions through your Apple account and Android subscriptions through Google Play. Deleting your Offzone account does not cancel a store subscription.

Android rules and permissions

Save a rule, then Apply it from home. Saving or applying a rule does not start blocking. Enable app blocking after reading the AccessibilityService explanation, then start focus explicitly. Place-based focus also requires precise location, arrival within the selected area, and the daily window. Quick focus works without a place. Editing a rule leaves its applied version unchanged until you Apply the changes.

Android place monitoring and maps

Start place monitoring explicitly for arrival and exit notifications. It shows an ongoing notification, never starts focus automatically, and stops when you Restore access. Android can stop focus when its service stops; split-screen and picture-in-picture can limit shielding. Address search uses your device geocoder. Show map loads OpenStreetMap tiles and sends the viewed area and your IP address to that provider; you can enter coordinates without showing the map.

Keep a copy of your journal

Plans and reflections stay only on this device and are excluded from backup. Export before changing devices or deleting Offzone. You can read, export, and delete existing entries even without Pro. Android can import a valid Offzone journal JSON export; conflicting entries are rejected instead of replacing existing records. A journal plan does not schedule app blocking.

Delete your account

Use Delete account in the account screen. To request deletion without the app, email wogus5357@gmail.com from your account email with the subject “Offzone account deletion.” We may verify account ownership. The request covers your authentication account and cloud goal. Local rules and journal entries remain until you delete them or uninstall the app. Store subscriptions must be cancelled separately, and transaction records may be retained for legal and fraud-prevention purposes. Never send passwords or payment details.
